FIA (Federal Investigation Agency) has released a notification on 11th May 2020. In Accordance with this notification, FIA will hire the hardworking and Motivated Individuals for its headquarters located in Multiple cities of Pakistan as Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad, Faisalabad, Rawalpindi, Hyderabad, Quetta, Multan, Gujranwala, Sahiwal, and Peshawar as well as in the distant cities of KPK, Sindh, Balochistan, and Azad Kashmir in different departments such as Anti-Corruption, Anti Human Smuggling, Counter-Terrorism, Economic Crimes, Immigration, Interpol, Integrated Border Management, and Cybercrime Cell. 

FIA Jobs 2021 are in Phase II and the Hiring Agencies will complete the entire process of hiring within 1 Year. For example, the notification is released on 11th May 2020. It means that within the duration of 1 Year, the entire process of the hiring will be completed i.e. Test, Interview, Medical Examination, and Physical Test, the shortlisted candidates will be informed accordingly, while the merit lists will be displayed on the notice boards or websites.

 

According to the 11th May 2020 Notification FIA will hire for 1257 posts ranging from the Chowikar to the Additional Director General FIA. However, the fulfillment of the 1257 vacant posts, subjects to the Budget dedicated for the Ministry of Interior. In case if FIA is short of Funds the Hiring process can be delayed up to the Financial Year 2021-2022 or Furthermore.

FIA Jobs 2021 Latest Update

Previously all the above-mentioned 1257 vacancies are to be filled in the financial year 2019. However, a ban is imposed by the Finance Wing on 21-08-2019 and the FIA was stopped to fill its vacant posts. This ban was lifted on 04-02-2020 and the FIA was allowed Re-innovation.

As, the ban is lifted, FIA is looking forward to fill its vacant posts. As the budget for the financial years 2020-2021 has already announced, the Accountant General of Pakistan will soon Green Signal FIA to fill its empty seats. 

After that, FIA will contact any Testing Council like FPSC for the purpose of hiring. All this process will take months to complete, and at the end of 2020, you will find the FIA Jobs 2021 Advertised in the newspapers. Till it is recommended to keep calm and prepare for the FPSC.

FIA Jobs 2021 Testing Agency

The notification regarding the FIA Jobs 2020 has already been released and is forward from the Ministry of Interior to the Accountant General of Pakistan where it will get approved and the FIA will get the green signal to fill its 1257 vacant posts. 

Meanwhile, Jobs will get advertised through any of the Testing Agency like FPSC, UTS, OTS, or NTS. The Syllabus of the different testing agencies is as follows. 

FIA Jobs 2021 FPSC Syllabus

FPSC normally conducts the test based on General MCQs, picked up from the everyday life like English, General Intelligence comprising of Basic Arithmetic, Current Affairs, General Knowledge, Pakistan Studies, Islamic Studies, and Everyday Science. 

However, if the Job is skill-based like the FIA Cybercrime Cell Job, then you may be asked the Questions relating to your field and study like Information Security, Cyber Security, and Computer Forensics picked up from the field of Software Engineering, Computer Science and IT in combination with the English Test, based on MCQs. 

FIA Jobs 2021 UTS Syllabus

Normally FPSC will conduct the test for the vacancies falling under FIA Jobs 2021. In some cases, UTS can also conduct the test, only if the test is skill-based i.e. relating to the FIA Cybercrime Cell Jobs or any other skill-based job. 

Only in such case, UTS can test you on Cybersecurity, IT, and English. However, in most of the cases, FIA Jobs are filled through FPSC. Therefore, it is advised to prepare for the FPSC in order to Join FIA.

FIA Jobs 2021 NTS Syllabus

In case, if the FIA Jobs 2021 are announced through NTS, then you may be test based on English, Quantitative Reasoning (Maths), and Analytical Reasoning.  

FIA Jobs 2021 OTS Syllabus

Open Testing Agency (OTS) also holds the test based on multiple MCQs as English, Quantitative Reasoning, Analytical Reasoning, Computer Knowledge, Current Affairs, General Knowledge, Pakistan Studies, and Islamic Studies.

How To Apply in FIA Jobs 2021

FIA Jobs will get advertised in the Newspapers and the testing council will demand applications from the respective candidates.

Submit the applications online or offline with Fees. 

After the closing of the applications, the testing body within 1-2 months will conduct the test. 

The result of the test will get announced within 1 month, and the applicable candidates will be sent for the interview. 

Candidates will be further shortlisted in Interview, Medical Examination, and Physical Test. Successful candidates will be sent for training and after the successful completion of training, they will get posted in any of the FIA Police Station or Headquarters across Pakistan.
